Policy Lead (Zielony Konserwatyzm)
Policy Lead (Green Conservatism)
Location: Remote within Poland
Fundacja Polska z Natury is a non-profit organisation dedicated to initiating and delivering projects that increase public awareness of nature conservation and environmental issues.
The Foundation is part of the Our Common Home international network, which works to strengthen local communities and develop environmental solutions rooted in a community-based approach.
Our work is based on the belief that economic development can—and should—go hand in hand with environmental stewardship, strong local communities, and responsibility towards future generations.
We focus on working with residents of small towns and rural areas, particularly in eastern and southern Poland. By building on their experiences, daily realities, and values, we engage communities from the ground up and help create meaningful influence on public decision-making.
About the Role
We are looking for a Policy Lead to establish and develop the Policy Hub—a collaborative platform within the Poland from Nature ecosystem that brings together think tanks, research institutes, expert organisations, and independent specialists.
The Policy Hub will build strategic partnerships, coordinate collaboration, and translate expert knowledge and insights gained through community engagement into practical public policy proposals that address Poland's most pressing challenges.
The Policy Lead will work closely with the Director of Strategy and Narrative, reporting directly to them, and will collaborate with the emerging Media Hub to ensure strong alignment between policy development, communications, and campaigns across the Poland from Nature ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
As Policy Lead, you will:
Build and develop a strategic network of Policy Hub partners, including think tanks, research institutes, expert organisations, and independent specialists.
Identify and engage partners with both deep expertise and the capacity to influence public decision-making.
Coordinate the development of public policy proposals across key thematic areas.
Translate research, analysis, and lessons from community-based initiatives into practical recommendations for policymakers.
Ensure alignment between Policy Hub activities and wider campaigns delivered across the Poland from Nature ecosystem.
Collaborate with Media Hub colleagues to develop compelling narratives, messaging, and communications around policy proposals.
Support partner organisations through strategic coordination, capacity building, and advocacy planning.
Identify capability gaps within the ecosystem and help establish new organisations or initiatives where needed.
Build lasting coalitions between expert organisations, opinion leaders, and decision-makers.
Priority Policy Areas
Initially, the Policy Hub will focus on areas where broad public support can be built around long-term solutions for Poland's development:
Energy and energy security
Agriculture and food sovereignty
Health and the environment
National and European policy
