About Ek Kutumb
Ek Kutumb is a research organisation working to strengthen the legitimacy and adoption of climate action in India. We conduct deep, values-based research to understand how people think about responsibility, risk, fairness, development, and change — moving beyond surface opinions to uncover enduring value systems that shape behaviour and public acceptance.
We translate this research into human intelligence for institutions — helping governments, funders, intermediaries, and large organisations design climate policies, programs, and investments that are socially grounded and politically viable. Our work sits at the intersection of research, public policy, and institutional strategy.
About the Role
The Manager – Strategy & Ecosystem Engagement will play a central role in shaping and executing Ek Kutumb’s external engagement strategy.
Working closely with the Co-CEO and leadership team, you will help identify high-leverage institutional actors, shape external positioning, support senior-level engagements, and contribute to the development of strategic partnerships and advisory opportunities. This role combines structured thinking, external-facing maturity, and disciplined follow-through.
It is well suited to someone with strong strategy foundations who is motivated by helping research travel into influence — and who is comfortable operating at the intersection of ecosystem engagement and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ecosystem Strategy & Stakeholder Prioritisation
Lead mapping and analysis of high-leverage actors across policy, philanthropy, and intermediary networks
Contribute to defining and refining stakeholder strategy across states
Identify emerging ecosystem opportunities aligned with Ek Kutumb’s priorities

2. Senior Engagement Support & External Positioning
Support preparation for high-level meetings with funders, policy actors, and institutional partners
Develop clear, structured materials that articulate Ek Kutumb’s positioning and value proposition
Help design curated roundtables, briefings, and closed-door dialogues
Strengthen clarity and coherence of external narratives and institutional messaging
3. Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Support
Contribute to shaping engagement pathways with prospective institutional partners
Support development of proposals, concept notes, and engagement scopes
Help convert ecosystem conversations into structured advisory opportunities
Maintain disciplined tracking of engagement pipelines and follow-through
